Packing for chemo treatments

AS per usual, I am at the airport. My home away from home.    I live out of a bag. So as a person close in my life started a new chemo regimen that was no longer a pill, but, rather, a trip to the hospital to,receive the treatment, my first thought was: “What should I tell him to bring?” I feel that having “your stuff” with you makes everything seem a little more palitable. Even chemo.

So my tips on what to pack should you find yourself or a loved one in this bind is:

A blanket of your own, one that makes you feel cozy. Don’t under estimate the power or “cozy.”

Hand cream that smells delightful. Smells can take you to another place.

Good reading material. That may mean The New York Tines to some; People or Us magazine to others.

An ipad. Phones don’t work in hospitals, but wifi is free for all!

A good attitude. It can only help.
